“Fusing fitness and entertainment,” Crunch Gym has officially opened its newest innovative workout venue in the Fountains Plaza shopping center at 4836 14th St. West in Bradenton, Florida, the firm announced yesterday from New York.
“Crunch Bradenton” comprises a 28,400-square-foot facility with top-of-the-line cardio and strength training equipment and full-service locker areas, along with tanning and massage options. An indoor cycling studio complements areas for group fitness classes featuring Zumba, yoga and body sculpting, pilates and more. Additionally, child care services are available for parents of children aged six months through 12 years.
The newest franchise is the sixth Florida Crunch outlet owned and operated by Vince Julien and Tony Scrimale; the duo plans to open at least 20 more Crunch gyms on the East Coast over the next few years.
"We are excited to continue to build and grow in the Tampa Bay community," Julien said. “Our goal is continued expansion until we have Crunch locations conveniently located throughout the entire Tampa Bay region. We are proud to offer an affordable fitness experience for Tampa Bay's residents in a fun, friendly, 'No Judgments' environment."
Crunch’s mission is to make exercise fun, pioneering a noncompetitive philosophy. Headquartered in New York City and co-owned by New Evolution Ventures and Angelo, Gordon, a private-equity firm, Crunch serves 550,000-plus members with more than 120 gyms worldwide, including 105 franchises across 12 states, Puerto Rico and Australia.
