Florida’s Cale America Inc. has selected Laura Lierz to helm its Denver area office as the automated parking payment technology company’s first CAPP-certified regional sales manager, the firm announced recently from its Tampa headquarters.
Lierz will team with Max Corotis, who became Cale America’s sales director in October 2015, to accommodate the company’s rapid growth in the Rocky Mountain area.
"Cale's growing customer base in Colorado includes the addition of key new accounts like the City of Aspen, Town of Breckenridge and University of Denver," Corotis said. "It only makes sense to bring on an experienced account manager in this region. Laura brings a lot of integrity, technical knowledge and long-standing relationships and we are grateful that she will be an integral part of the new Cale America organization."
With previous parking and transportation experience in the Rockies — including work with the University of Colorado, City of Boulder and Colorado State University — Lierz expressed enthusiasm for the position.
"Parking is my passion," she said. "I saw an opportunity with Cale to be part of a smaller team again, and one that is focused on sitting down with organizations, listening to their parking challenges and coming up with solutions. That's what I want to do."
Cale America has developed and continues to introduce mobile payments for parking, EMV chip card solutions, electronic permits and plate-based enforcement solutions for the parking industry.
"Having Laura on board is a home run for Cale and its customers," Andreas Jansson, managing director, said. "She gives us the ability to support our existing customers better while helping us implement new solutions for campuses, cities and parking operators around the country."
