Bridging disparities in privilege and opportunity, top echelon leaders of Nerium International provide hands-on mentorship to those in need, Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) announced recently in Tampa, Florida as it honored its top fundraising partner.
Raising $1.3 million in 2015 and driving over $2 million in support of BBBS’ youth mentoring throughout the U.S. and Canada from 2012 to 2014, Nerium and its affiliated Nerium Ripple Foundation have enabled the organization to attend to approximately 3,500 youth at risk.
“From top corporate leadership to local partner involvement, Nerium helps further our mission through nearly every facet of their organization,” Pam Iorio, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, said. “Their financial support and ability to encourage more brand ambassadors means that we can help match even more children with a strong adult mentor.”
Not only does Nerium provide financial backing, but it also lives up to its creed that leadership begins at the top, with individual partners offering their time as volunteer one-on-one mentors: Chief Leadership Officer Renee Olson and founder/Co-CEO Jeff Dahl were each matched with a “Little” sibling over a year ago.
“The missions of Big Brothers Big Sisters and Nerium International are nearly identical,” Nerium founder and CEO Jeff Olson said. “Both organizations work to make lives better with caring individuals gently modeling the way.”
Based in Addison, Texas, Nerium markets a line of anti-aging products backed by science.
