Leather ottomans, live entertainment and more await the first families to arrive at El Dorado Furniture’s two-day grand opening festivities for its brand-new store at 19250 S. Dixie Hwy. in Cutler Bay, Florida, Feb. 6-7.
With boulevard-style showrooms featuring Carlo Perrazi, Home Gallery, Cool Kids, The Terrace, Leather Living, Mattress Shop and LIV, El Dorado's new 60,000-square-foot facility sits at the junction of Marlin Road and US1 in the South Florida community.
Following a private ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7 p.m. Feb. 4, which will include a donation to a local child abuse prevention program, El Dorado Furniture will greet the public at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 with entertainment, appetizers and $150 furniture cards for the first 150 families to attend. Likewise at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, the company will give away one free leather ottoman to the first 150 visitors.
Offering both indoor and outdoor furniture suites, El Dorado’s Cutler Bay opening will also create local jobs. With corporate offices housed in Miami, the company has numerous existing retail locations throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Lee counties. The company was established in 1967 by Manuel Capó and his sons, Luis and Carlos.
