The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research, which facilitates funding needs for companies created in conjunction with academic institutions, recently inked a deal with Pensacola technology and digital marketing firm DigiGroup Holdings LLC.

DigiGroup utilizes technology developed at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC). The full-service firm provides scalable solutions that are affordable and user-friendly for all business owners, enabling them to compete in their respective market sectors.

The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research is a nonprofit dually based in Gainesville and Boca Raton. It was founded by the Florida Legislature in 2007 to provide a link between Florida’s private research institutions and its state university system, specifically its technology licensing and commercialization departments.
