Mi9 Retail, a Miami-based creator of retail store management software, has announced plans to grow its workforce in the coming year.
Launched in 2014, the company plans to hire for “technical roles relating to product development, professional services and customer support,” according to a press release.
The company is hoping the availability of tech-savvy workers in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area, which earned high marks on a Kauffman Foundation study of startup activity, will help fuel the growth, the announcement said.
"We have been successful in recruiting people who have cutting edge technical skills and retail experience, and who want to grow their career by working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment," company CEO Neil Moses said.
