Leading e-liquid and vaping device manufacturer Nicopure Labs LLC, announced the appointment of industry expert Patricia Kovacevic as general counsel and chief compliance officer today in Tampa.
Bringing comprehensive domestic and international e-cigarette and tobacco legal and business experience, Kovacevic will assume responsibilities for the company's global legal affairs, regulatory and compliance matters, as well as public policy engagement for the firm, which manufactures Halo, eVo, Triton and G6 brands.
"Patricia is a world-renowned expert in regulatory compliance and experienced leader in managing legal teams and issues across different jurisdictions,” the company said. “Her professional expertise and personal commitment to the unique harm reduction opportunities presented by vaping products is the ideal match for our company's and the industry's relentless expansion and our commitment to product standards and compliance. Kovacevic, who was instrumental in securing the first premarket approvals for newly regulated tobacco products by the Food and Drug Administration, will report to founders Jeffrey Stamler and Jason Del Giudice. She earned her law degree from Columbia Law School and is admitted to practice both in the state of New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Established in 2009, Nicopure Labs is a leading e-liquid and vaporizer device manufacturer with operations in the U.S. and Europe, distributing to 110 countries. Nicopure recently relocated manufacturing and distribution to a 100,000-square-foot Gainesville facility, as well as adding European headquarters in the Netherlands.
