Zimmerman Advertising, an integrated retail agency, has hired Michael Angelovich as executive vice president/director of strategic planning, the Fort Lauderdale-based company announced today.
Angelovich has a strong track record for building strategic teams and cultivating client partnerships. During his tenure with mcgarrybown, he was key in the firm’s successful bid to win global Intel business and key accounts such as P&G and Staples.
"I was captured by Michael's ambition, willingness to invent and how much he cared about work,” CEO Michael Goldberg said. “Michael makes insights better, work better and people better—and all that combined makes business better."
As well as taking responsibility for strategic planning, Angelovich will lead the Red Light Project, the agency's unorthodox retail research engine. He will also join the expanded leadership team that has revitalized growth for the retail shop.

Zimmerman’s clients include prominent retail brands such as Nissan, Party City, Dunkin' Donuts, AutoNation, Firehouse Subs, Boston Market and Michael's. The agency has retail service offices throughout the country, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and Nashville.
