Geoff Gerks named chief human resources officer at G4S

Global integrated security firm G4S, based in Jupiter, Florida, named Geoff Gerks as its chief human resources officer for North America and Technology on Thursday.

Gerks, who joined G4S in 2013, will oversee human resources, learning and development, and health and safety for all G4S branches in North America. He will report to Regional CEO John Kenning.

"Whether our employees are installing state-of-the-art security management systems, delivering strategic risk consulting or patrolling at a local business, they are the key to delivering a great customer experience,” Kenning said. “Geoff Gerks works with his teams to ensure that G4S excels in recruiting, training and developing our employees…[and] that we continue to deliver the finest combination of security personnel, project management, risk management, and technology solutions to our customers."

G4S has garnered various awards under Gerks’ guidance to date, earning recognition for best practices in personnel management, leadership, training and development.
