"During this period of growth, HealthCare Partners will benefit immensely from Lauren's extensive experience in finance and managed care," Lorie Glisson, HealthCare Partners' Florida market president and CEO, said. "Her strong record of meeting key financial and operational results, in combination with her commitment to our cultural values, makes her an invaluable addition to our team."
HealthCare Partners is an operator of medical groups and physician networks. It serves as an operating division of DaVita HealthCare Partners.
Edgington is a Florida native, and holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Clemson University in applied economics. She was an analyst at Goldman Sachs early in her career.
"DaVita HealthCare Partners is a forward-thinking organization that is patient-, physician- and teammate-focused," Edgington said. "I was attracted to the strong organizational culture at DaVita HealthCare Partners, and look forward to working with innovative leaders to achieve better outcomes for our patients and their families."
