With a newly acquired Denver-area venue and plans to expand in South Florida, Miami-based Healthy & Tasty Brands plans to stimulate the greater Miami-area economy in the near future with its restaurant business.
The company’s newest acquisition, located in Greeley, Colorado, is a fully equipped restaurant and bar, with seating capacity for 100-plus patrons and a secondary special-event area that can accommodate an additional 50 patrons, Healthy & Tasty Brands CEO Henry Klein said on Friday.
The purchase of the asset, which included real estate, was arranged through Sperry Van Ness, the Group Commercial, LLC, of Fort Collins, Colorado. This location, to be converted into the new concept within 90 days, will sport the outfit’s new logo, as will all future company-owned restaurants.
The company will announce further additions/acquisitions in the Denver and Miami areas in the near future. Klein said he has received a strong response from shareholders wishing to attend a special shareholder meeting.
“Based on the number of shareholders indicating a desire to attend, we are planning to reschedule the meeting...prior to year-end to allow interested shareholders time to arrange to attend in person, and because of the large shareholder base in South Florida, it is now our intention to hold this special shareholder meeting in the Greater Miami area," Klein said. "The date and location will be announced as soon as the arrangements can be completed."
Healthy & Tasty Brands will continue to develop restaurants as a master franchisee in South Florida’s Miami-Dade, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach areas.
