Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG), which underwent unprecedented growth in 2015 and expanded to new headquarters in Davie, Florida, said Tuesday it has been named among South Florida's top Hispanic-owned businesses in the South Florida Business Journal's (SFBJ) annual listing.
"We're proud to be part of the growing community of Hispanic entrepreneurs in South Florida," BHG President Bob Castro said. "BHG extends its congratulations to all of the Hispanic-owned companies on this year's list."
BHG provides financial solutions for health care professionals. The company launched several new initiatives in 2015, including personal financing, a branded MasterCard and business and personal insurance solutions through its affiliate firm, BHG Insurance Services.
BHG’s new 26,000-square-foot site has garnered kudos for its onsite gym facility and fitness programs from both the media and the American Heart Association.
SFBJ’s annual list of the region's top Hispanic-owned businesses for 2015 ranked each firm by its 2014 revenue, with BHG reporting 2014 revenue of $93.83 million.
BHG has provided hassle-free financial solutions to health care professionals since 2001, including personal and commercial loans, credits cards and insurance services. BHG has provided over $2 billion in funding to thousands of United States customers, and Inc. magazine has recognized the company for growth and job creation a total of ten times.
