With five locations in Florida, including its corporate headquarters in Doral, and growing rapidly, United Data Technologies (UDT) has taken steps to expand with a new office in Plano, Texas, the company reported Wednesday.
Having launched its Dallas metroplex operations July 1, the growing and expanding Florida-based company plans to further expand to Houston and Austin in 2016.
"Texas is a market that we feel offers tremendous growth opportunities within the commercial as well as the public sector that lends itself to the strengths and competencies that UDT brings to the market," UDT Chief Operations Officer Gerard Amaro said. "We'll focus on helping our clients navigate their continuing transition to a managed cloud environment, implementing Microsoft Office 365 and UDT's complete managed services solutions and all other technology solutions."
Founded in Florida in 1995 by Henry Fleches and Gerard Amaro, UDT quickly became a leading technology solution provider in the Southeastern and Midwestern United States.
Florida has led the nation in the digital convergence from textbooks to digital content in the classroom with the nation's first law requiring its schools to make the transition this year. UDT has established a leadership position in providing technology solutions and consulting to the largest public school districts in the nation, as well as many private schools.
Named one of the 50 fastest-growing domestic information technology (IT) firms by Everything Channel, UDT helps commercial, educational, municipal, state and federal customers maximize their IT investments by reducing the costs and complexity of installing next-generation technology.
