Dave Randle has been appointed president of the Main Street America Group’s six-state Southeast Region, to oversee operations in Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, the company announced this week in Jacksonville.

Randle will report to Jeff Kusch, senior vice president/head of field operations, at the firm’s Jacksonville corporate headquarters.

“Dave brings a strong sales production and customer relationship background to this critical role,” Kusch said. “He will lead our Southeast Region sales operation and focus on improving profitability and driving net premium growth across the region’s six states.”

Having joined Main Street America in 2008, Randle served the company in several capacities. Earlier in his career he worked with Zurich Insurance Services, also in Jacksonville.

Randle earned a bachelor's in business administration at the University of North Florida and a master’s degree in risk management at Florida State University. He holds several professional insurance industry designations, including Certified Risk Manager, Certified Insurance Counselor, and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.

The Main Street America Group is a mutual insurance holding company that writes business through nine property/casualty insurance carriers. With nearly $1 billion in premiums written solely by its 3,000-plus independent insurance agents, the 92-year-old company insures over 650,000 policyholders across 36 states and writes bonds in 47 states plus the District of Columbia.
