Perkins Restaurant & Bakery, known for serving breakfast throughout the day and equipped with a bakery specializing in pastries, said on Monday from its Memphis, Tennessee, headquarters that it has added K&R Invesco, LLC, as a franchisee.
"Perkins has an impressive history and unprecedented levels of brand awareness in the marketplace," K&R partner Kamil Gowni said. "We look forward to introducing and welcoming guests to our new Perkins location in a few short months.”
The deal involves a one-restaurant commitment for a Perkins site at a desirable end-cap location in a new strip shopping center at 701 E. State Road 434 in Winter Springs, Florida. The restaurant is set to open in early 2016.
"We're thrilled to have a new franchisee in the market," Andy Whiteley, vice president, general counsel and secretary for Perkins & Marie Callender's, LLC, said. Whiteley oversees the company's franchising efforts. “This particular location is ripe for a Perkins Restaurant, and we are confident that both the geography and the community demographics are a good fit for our concept."
Perkins offers both single-unit operations and multi-unit ownership franchise opportunities.
