Oakridge Global Energy Solutions Inc. has made arrangements for Orlando-based CBX Electronics, along with BESTCREWS of Tokyo, to become major players in the Oakridge sales and marketing team, the company announced today in Melbourne.
"BESTCREWS provides us a significant presence in Japan and…CBX Electronics gives us a very established presence in Florida, Georgia and the Caribbean,” Oakridge President Lee Arrowood said. “Combined with the skills of our in-house sales and marketing team, we have an absolutely fantastic group."
CBX Electronics and its eight-person staff join the Oakridge in-house sales and marketing team, while BESTCREWS brings in 50 sales staffers to enhance marketing in the U.S. and in Japan as the firm continues to grow by adding key customers and markets for its production in Melbourne and Palm Bay facilities.
"This is a huge step,” Oakridge Executive Chairman and CEO Steve Barber. “This sales and marketing team will secure worldwide sales and require us to add production capacity to keep pace with the market demands. We are now well on our way to becoming a major player in the world lithium-ion battery manufacturing space."
Barber added that the additional workforce will strengthen Oakridge’s presence in both the domestic and international markets.
“We are delighted to welcome both of these organizations into the Oakridge family,” he said. “Both BESTCREWS and CBX will add to and complement the strengths of our outstanding full-time sales and marketing team. This gives us the precise talent we need to meet and exceed our sales projections.”
Oakridge, headquartered in Palm Bay, is publicly traded with a market capitalization of approximately $250 million.
