Florida’s largest residential real estate brokerage, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate LLC, announced its acquisition of assets in Clearwater Beach’s Island Estates Realty this week, expanding its regional footprint.
The Island Estates Realty office at 110 Island Way in Clearwater will operate as Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate.
"Our company is actively growing operations across West Central Florida, and there is great demand for homes in the surrounding Tampa Bay area, making this acquisition a strategic opportunity for us," Clark Toole, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Florida, said. "The skilled sales associates at Island Estates Realty have the reputation for knowing the market inside and out, and we are thrilled to welcome them to our company."
Under the leadership of owner Joanne Hiller, who will continue with Coldwell Banker in sales, Island Estates Realty provided professional real estate services to the Clearwater Beach/Island Estates community for over 45 years, establishing it as one of Pinellas County’s oldest residential real estate businesses.
"Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate gives our sales associates access to the resources, technology, brand strength and global network that will be valuable as we continue to build our business," Hiller, who has consistently earned local recognition for her work, said.
Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, a subsidiary of NRT LLC, the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company, has expanded its reach in recent years via multiple acquisitions in Florida. It is a full-service residential real estate firm with more than 85 offices and 5,100 sales associates serving Central Florida, Flagler, Brevard, Palm Beach, Southeast Florida, Southwest Florida, Northwest Florida and Tampa Bay.
