Destin Area Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors gathered to celebrate the Florida community’s newest business venture with a ribbon cutting at Emerald Coast in a Box on Tuesday.
Locally owned and operated, Emerald Coast in a Box focuses on weddings and other special events, offering custom boxes filled with locally themed products and souvenirs. Boxes are hand-selected and hand-packed to ensure the highest quality, making thoughtful gifts for loved ones, care packages to deployed troops or veterans, and memorable birthday and holiday celebration mementoes.
Having recently launched Destin in a Box, Emerald Coast in a Box is currently expanding into the 30A area, Panama City and Pensacola. The 30A area encompasses the region in Florida between Panama City Beach and Destin, in reference to the Scenic Highway 30-A, which offers villages, dune lakes, resorts, funky beach bistros, fine dining and 25,000 acres of protected habitats.
The Destin Area Chamber of Commerce also will be on hand to commemorate ribbon cuttings for Destin Custom Home Builders at the Regatta Bay Preserve on Monday; Cinco de Mayo Cocina Mexicana in Miramar Beach on Oct. 15; and LexyLeah Athletic Apparel in Destin on Oct. 20.
Other upcoming events include a Leaders In Business Lunch, sponsored by White-Wilson Medical Center, on Tuesday; the third annual “Bourbon at the Bay” on Nov. 19; and an annual holiday party on Dec. 17. For more information, visit the chamber’s website www.destinchamber.com.
