Lans Holdings Inc. announced in Miami, Florida, on Oct. 27 that two officers have been promoted as previously stated in an Aug. 19, 2015 statement: Anthony Ribas as president and Rudy Romeiro as chief operations officer.
As president, Ribas will manage business development and international strategy while increasing the Lans Holdings partner network; as COO, Romeiro will lead the company in overseeing the support infrastructure to assist with client acquisitions.
With over 15 years of industry experience specializing in payment processing marketing and sales, Ribas co-founded and served several large Independent Sales Organizations (ISO) and technology companies in the payment processing industry. Eventually emerging as a leader in the wireless payment industry in the 90s, Ribas was responsible for Motorola’s first certified payment solutions to merchants on the Nextel wireless network.
"It's an honor to lead such a deep, talented management team,” Ribas said. "We intend to be laser focused on acquiring new strategic partners to expedite our growth in the payment industry. We are confident our robust flexible line of payment solutions will increase revenue opportunities for Lans Holdings as well as its valued partners."
Romeiro, with extensive expertise in technology applied to business and payment processing, has served as a technology executive for several large companies such as Motorola and Alcoa, recently paving the way for Payment Gateway provider RedFin Network as well as Yapyzal, an innovative social commerce engine for businesses to sell their goods via Facebook.
"I've dedicated my career to use technology as a driving force for business and relationship development, and I could not be more excited," Romeiro said. "I see incredible potential in their outstanding platform, which synthesizes software and hardware technologies for merchants."
