Tampa, Florida’s Adams Air & Hydraulics, Inc. will introduce its new division, Adams Automation & Controls, Inc. with product demos at booth 848 in Orlando’s ATX show later this week.
Adams will now be able to provide electromechanical, extrusion, robotic, safety and error-tracking services in addition to its existing pneumatic and hydraulic solutions. Founded in 1960, the company originally focused on motion control and factory automation.
"American manufacturing is back," Adams Air Vice President of Sales Doug Adams said. "This new division of Adams allows us to further live out our mission statement of strengthening American manufacturing by increasing our customer's competitiveness in the global marketplace through increased productivity and profitability."
He said the company's vendor partners are industry leaders in design, technology and innovation.
"Creating the right partnerships to provide our customers with additional solutions was critical to us," Adams said.
To offer its auxiliary solutions, the firm partners with industrial vendors in extrusion; vision, scanning and sensing technology; distance measurement; robotics; and more. To keep in step with the field’s rapidly evolving advances, Adams has trained its staff and bolstered information resources to help educate customers and tailor their choices.
"Our goal is to have multiple resources our customers can utilize throughout their design process, essentially becoming an extension of their engineering group,” Adams said. “We set our vision in 2010 to be the leading resource in the state of Florida for innovative, sustainable design, and successful application implementation from components to complete machine control. With this new division, we now have that ability.”
