Juice and beverage producer Sun Orchard announced plans this week to staff its newest office in downtown Miami, Florida, a strategic global gateway location, expanding its Florida presence and creating more than 20 new jobs locally.
With one production facility established at its Tempe, Arizona base, Sun Orchard also operates a plant in Haines City, Florida. Its new outpost at One Biscayne Tower in Miami will support the rapidly growing bi-coastal operation.
"We are excited that the continued strong performance of Sun Orchard has necessitated a new office … in Miami,” Sun Orchard’s Executive Chairman Jean-Marc Rotsaert said. “Now with an office in a business center, Sun Orchard is well-positioned to further enhance its strong growth trajectory by delivering its highest-quality products to more customers. We look forward to continuing our expansion both geographically into new markets as well as on the product-side, with more complex and sophisticated citrus products and vegetable-based offerings."
The company’s new workplace will span more than 7,000 square feet on One Biscayne Tower’s 23rd floor. By design, Sun Orchard hired its broker, Michael Wagner of Stein Posner Real Estate Services Inc., to consider only environmentally friendly structures. The centrally located building has been Energy Star-rated for nine consecutive years.
"As a major travel destination with ports for cruise ships and a booming hotel industry, Miami is an ideal location to solidify our presence,” company’s SVP for Sales & Marketing Steve Finn said. “In this cultural hub, Sun Orchard will have an excellent opportunity to further establish its high quality products to the high-end culinary and mixology scene."
