Business Acceleration Summit, in collaboration with SynerVision Leadership Foundation, will present "Leadership Empowerment Symposium: Leadership Systems, Skills, and Strategies for Executives" on Friday at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront at 2605 North A1A in Melbourne, Florida.
To provide education, networking and career development prospects for leaders, the partnering sponsors will offer the one-day intensive session from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event is targeted specifically to business leaders, nonprofit executive directors, board chairs, pastors, rabbis and other leaders.
The event will give an introductory overview of "Transformational Leadership" led by Hugh Ballou, who developed the program over the course of his 40-year career as a musical conductor, gaining insight into organizational and personal leadership, culture, and board development.
“Leadership is a culture and not a training program,” Ballou said.
Known as "The Transformational Leadership Strategist," he views management as a skill set, as a system, and as a culture of high performance. In his worldwide work with nonprofits, Ballou has crafted a program revealing elements lacking in traditional leadership methodologies.
Ballou, scheduled to share with organizational leaders in 15 cities this year, describes the forthcoming session as interactive. The symposium will consist of leadership content, board and staff development, conflict management systems, and problem solving to “address actual issues of participants.”
