Mountain views and challenging tests of skill will greet ski enthusiasts in Vail, Colorado during championship events sponsored by Florida’s EverBank, which announced an extended partnership with The Vail Valley Foundation this week from Jacksonville, Florida.
“EverBank is excited to extend our partnership with The Vail Valley Foundation,” Blake Wilson, president and COO of EverBank, said. “The Audi Birds of Prey World Cup is a premier ski event featuring the world’s best alpine skiers. Our sponsorship creates unmatched opportunities to engage with our clients and we’re looking forward to another great competition.”
Since 2014, EverBank has teamed up with the foundation, sponsoring that year’s Audi Birds of Prey World Cup and this year’s February FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. Devotees enjoy spectacular views and a “VIP” experience overlooking the course finish line. Fans can also try their hand on the EverBank Ski Simulator in Beaver Creek Village, Colorado.
Widely considered one of the most difficult downhill courses, Beaver Creek Mountain challenges top athletes with Men’s Downhill, Super-G and Giant Slalom competitions.
“EverBank has been an exceptional partner in all that we do, from the arts and music to culture, education, athletics, and the fruition of our mission in the Vail Valley,” Vail Valley Foundation acting CEO Mike Imhof said. “We are excited to have EverBank as the title sponsor of EverBank America’s Winter Opening, where winter begins, where people from around the world can gather to celebrate the start of our incredible winter season in Vail and Beaver Creek. Together with EverBank we will welcome spectators, their families, and the top athletes in the world to this prestigious event.”
