Boca Raton, Florida-based, Cendyn, a developer of proprietary platforms for the hospitality and event industry, last week named John Seaton as international managing director for its London branch in preparation for continued global expansion.
Seaton, with over two decades of global technology practice, will manage the company’s growth for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific areas. He previously worked for eRevMax and Rickyard Solutions; co-founded Business Meetings International (acquired by Cendyn), and served in executive positions with Global Hotel Alliance, Hotel Booking Solutions and Pegasus Solutions.
"I'm pleased to join Cendyn as it rapidly further expands into the international market," Seaton said. "Cendyn's solutions are becoming essential to the success of organizations within the event and leisure hospitality industries, and I'm happy to bring my expertise and insight to help these organizations drive bottom-line results."
Cendyn also recently purchased and refurbished a 94,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art office building in Singapore to further establish the company's strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to current offices in Boca Raton and Atlanta, Georgia in the U.S., Cendyn operates out of Toronto and London, with plans to debut eight additional international offices in 2016.
Cendyn is the parent company of its two signature subsidiary companies, Cendyn/ONE and Cendyn Arcaneo, which evolved organically over the course of the firm’s rapid growth. Cendyn, founded nearly 20 years ago, anticipates “exciting and elevated levels of growth,” as SaaS platforms become ever more critical to industry success, CEO Charles Deyo said.
