Acquired in January by Z Capital Partners, Carillon Miami Beach named Lester Scott as managing director, introduced an array of new offerings focused on wellness and launched an exclusive membership program.

The company began as The Carillon Hotel in 1958 and famously served as backdrop to the Rat Pack celebrity circle. The new branding blends 21st-century travel with the history of its high-class beginnings.

The all-suite facility features 150 rooms, an upscale spa focused on luxury skin care, and an onsite medical staff as well as a boutique. Perhaps its most evocative attraction is its new THYME restaurant combining world-class cuisine with a bar and outdoor lounge areas.

"The Carillon brand redefines luxury lifestyle offerings with its all-encompassing nature and elevated level of service provided to our clientele," Scott said. "We will be taking the best and most memorable attributes of our past and recreating them for the contemporary market."

The near future includes plans for lobby and outdoor area renovations, to commence in spring 2016.
