Florida manufacturer AWP Windows and Doors has revealed its newest delivery vehicle fleet for 2016 to replace aging inventory and lower operating costs, the company’s CFO Jim Koscica announced recently in Miami.
"The new fleet is also good news for our customers as the trucks we've added to the fleet will enable us to further extend our delivery capability to the job site, based upon the shortened length of the trucks and the addition to lift gates on all the vehicles,” Ignacio Escobedo, vice president of manufacturing and engineering, said. “Deploying the new mix of vehicles will also allow more flexibility to meet the commitments of our new Quick Ship Programs.”
AWP’s Managing Director Joe Escribano added that the business will take advantage of the heightened capacity to satisfy customer needs and drive company growth at the same time, noting that the vehicles themselves act as “billboards that carry our new branding message.”
AWP Windows & Doors, headquartered in Miami and the manufacturer of America's first certified impact window, has produced high-quality aluminum and vinyl windows and doors for the Florida and Caribbean residential and light commercial markets since 1958.
