Miami’s Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. President and CEO Richard Lampen was recently named vice chair of the Financial Services Institute’s (FSI) board of directors for 2016 and as chair of the board for 2017.
“Over the last several years, Ladenburg has worked closely with FSI and its expansive network to advocate for industry best practices and advance its important mission,” Lampen said. “I’m honored to serve as the 2016 Vice Chair and 2017 Chair, and look forward to supporting FSI in ensuring that all individuals have access to competent and affordable financial advice, products and services.”
FSI acts as an advocacy organization for independent broker-dealers and financial advisors. It works to promote cooperation among regulatory enterprises and to foster responsible governance practices.
