Florida's Safariland Group acquires assets of Lawmen's Safety Supply

Jacksonville, Florida-based Safariland Group, provider of safety and survivability products, recently purchased the assets of Lawmen's Safety Supply Inc., a  law enforcement equipment and uniform company

Lawmen's Safety is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. It has three retail stores in the Carolinas.

"Similar to the acquisition of Atlantic Tactical, adding Lawmen's to our growing distribution platform will allow Safariland to better serve our customer base by positioning us closer to the end-user," Scott O'Brien, Safariland's president, said. "We continue to focus on investing in our brands, underscoring our belief in innovation and service to all of our valued (independent) distribution partners."

Lawmen's will continue to be helmed by President Al Sutton. The current management and sales teams will also remain intact.

"It was very important to me to find the right long-term partner to help take our business to the next level for the benefit of our customers and employees," Sutton said.
