Ft. Lauderdale, Florida-based Becoming 3D, founded by printing industry veteran Grant Sadowski, recently announced a reselling agreement struck with MarkForged, producer of the world’s only composite 3D printer, the Mark One.
The Florida firm, now a statewide MarkForged Flagship Reseller Partner, provides 3D printers, supplies and materials for commercial and personal use, replacing traditional manufacturing methods and reducing design time and overhead.
Using carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass and nylon, the Mark One can produce components stronger than aluminum right from the desktop, utilizing a patented printing process and featuring editing capabilities in mid-production. The machinery employs a Composite Filament Fabrication (CFF) print head along with an FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) print head. Sensors, electronic parts, mounting ware and other features can all be added during the process.
"We are extremely excited to partner with MarkForged," Sadowski, who is also a Hewlett Packard Elite Partner, said. "Their innovative technology and unique product offerings positions us uniquely in the marketplace for success. We have experienced tremendous response from our customers since partnering with them."
Becoming 3D offers a broad array of services for its customers, including training, supplies, servicing and financing programs convenient for schools and businesses.
MarkForged is based in Somerville, Massachusetts.
