Citing his substantial leadership and engineering skills, medical device manufacturer Command Medical Products Inc. of Ormond Beach, Florida, recently appointed manufacturing industry veteran John Walter to guide the company as its new business development director.

"John brings with him over two decades of experience and has built an impressive track record of sales growth and innovative accomplishments," Stephanie McGee, Command Medical's former VP of sales and newly designated VP of marketing and customer service, said.

Previously, Walter was employed at EG Gilero, an injection molding business which partners with Command Medical Products. He earned an MBA with a special focus on finance, as well as his bachelor's of science in mechanical engineering technology, from the University of Dayton.

"John is the right leader at this time to assume the new business sales responsibilities,” Jim Carnall, Command Medical president, said. “The separation of sales and marketing functions will allow Command Medical to better support growth while maintaining a high level of service to existing accounts."

Command Medical’s device assembly and packing operations are located in Florida and Nicaragua. The company, a privately held corporation founded in 1987, produces plastics tubing extrusion, RF and ultrasonic welding, device assembly and packaging services, plus injection molding and sterilization services management.
