Cape Coral, Florida-based training firm Legacy Education Alliance Inc. this week announced the permanent appointment of Christian Baeza to CFO as of Jan. 1, formalizing his position after he served in an interim capacity.
Prior to his tenure with Legacy, Baeza worked at Kraton Performance Polymers Inc., where he played an instrumental role in that company’s IPO in 2009 as well as other firms’ similar transitions, including Spectra Energy Corp.
Having earned a B.B.A. in accounting and finance from Florida International University, Baeza started his professional career with Arthur Andersen LLP. Additionally, he is the CFO of Tigrent Inc.
Established in 1996, Legacy Education Alliance delivers value-based training in the areas of personal finance, entrepreneurship, real estate, and financial instruments investing. The company became publicly held in 2014 as a result of a reverse merger and has grown to a team of 200-plus members serving over 2 million students in over 150 nations and territories.
