Tampa, Florida-based American Integrity Insurance Company, specializing in homeowners insurance, announced last week that Victor Mandes will step up as new VP of IT, as Steve Kolk becomes Assistant VP.
“We’re thrilled to continue to add such accomplished professionals to our executive team,” Jon Ritchie, SVP of corporate and business development, said.
Mandes, who served previously at a commercial P&C firm, will guide business intelligence, decision support, IT, database, and quality functions as the company continues to improve customer experience via its technology solutions. A native of Puerto Rico, Mandes earned his undergraduate degree in computer science from Interamerican University and his MBA from the University of the Sacred Heart.
Kolk, in his new capacity of Assistant VP of pricing, came on board with American Integrity Insurance as a consultant, becoming director of pricing in 2014. Instrumental in handling the fallout from Hurricane Eloise across the state’s Panhandle region while at Foremost Insurance, Kolk has worked for various large-scale carriers. He has a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Calvin College in Michigan.
“Florida home insurance consumers expect and deserve for us to employ talented, knowledgeable, dedicated and driven individuals who strive to improve not just our organization, but Florida’s home insurance market as a whole. We’re proud to have created an environment that allows us to attract and retain the best and brightest in the industry,” Ritchie said.
