Premiering its “Best Industrial IoT Solution” award category at Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s IoT Evolution Expo recently, M2M firm Telit revealed that its deviceWISE program earned the top spot at the event’s Battle of the Platforms.
With IoT (Internet of Things) Evolution becoming a standard in the IoT industry, the 8th annual IoT Battle of the Platforms highlighted the Jan. 25-28 event at the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Telit awarded the 2016 deviceWISE Partner Awards to three companies: SAP, Red Lion, and Swisscom. Before the “battle” itself, Telit hosted an “IoT Innovation” event featuring speakers and illustrated projects from the Telit partner network.
“Battle of the Platforms is a great opportunity for market leaders to differentiate themselves by providing a competitive look at their solutions,” Crossfire Media’s Carl Ford, who acts as executive director of content for IoT Evolution, said. “Telit’s Industrial IoT platform stood out for its ability to quickly and easily integrate heterogeneous manufacturing technologies with enterprise applications without programming.”
Telit’s industrial IoT solution — deviceWISE for Factory — is an industrial automation platform that links complicated equipment from suppliers with varying procedures and interfaces to enterprise systems and applications without the need for customization.
“Telit IoT Innovation provides tremendous value to participants by leveraging the experience of Telit and our vast ecosystem to help companies in all industries innovate and accelerate time to market,” Telit IoT Platforms CEO Fred Yentz said. “We thank all of our partners for making this event a success. We also congratulate the winners of this year’s deviceWISE Partner Awards.”
Telit is a wireless M2M company headquartered in London with worldwide offices, including a North American branch in Raleigh, North Carolina.
