Florida-based PGT Inc., focusing on functional and attractive products for residential and commercial homes and businesses, announced recently from its North Venice base that Sheree Bargabos and Jeff Jackson have joined its board of directors.
Providing impact-resistant doors and windows to South Florida since 1980, PGT builds custom aluminum, vinyl and impact resistant house windows, doors and porch enclosures.
PGT’s Rod Hershberger, CEO and chairman of the board, welcomed both Bargabos and Jackson, praising Bargabos’ “wealth of executive management experience…expertise and deep knowledge in the building products industry,” along with Jackson’s “operational expertise and vision for success.“
With a bachelor of science in chemistry from McGill University, Bargabos previously served in a long-term leadership capacity with Owens Corning.
“I am extremely pleased to be joining PGT’s board of directors,” Bargabos said. “PGT has an enviable reputation and leading industry position. I look forward to working with the board and the company as it executes its strategic and geographic growth and diversification.”
Jackson is the company’s current president and COO, having been with the company since 2005 in a variety of roles. He earned a BBA from the University of West Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
“It is an honor for me to be named as a director,” Jackson said. “I look forward to working with the board to continue to expand PGT’s growth into new markets and expand our footprint.”
