Miami, Florida-based AWP Windows and Doors recently made two major appointments designed to further its growth and take the company “to the next level.”
"These new hires allow us to continue to build our momentum that we have established," CEO Craig Speed said. "All of these changes speak to our commitment to delight our customers, continuing to improve our quality and product portfolio."
Marcus Bentine comes to AWP from CGI Windows and Doors, a wholly owned subsidiary of PGT Inc. Prior to joining CGI, Bentine worked with Bertram Yachts, also in Miami.
"Marcus brings significant industry experience and knowledge to AWP, and we look forward to his contributions as we evolve our efforts from purchasing to strategic sourcing," Speed said.
New director marketing Virginie Hoebanx brings marketing savvy in online and social media, branding and campaign work, having handled well-known accounts including Shell, Bayer and Nestle. Previously Hoebanx served at J. Walter Thompson and Ogilvy & Mather in Paris, France.
"No other Florida based manufacturer comes close to our 58-year history of innovation and dedication to the South Florida dealer," Speed said. "AWP is the greatest story never told, dating back to the days of the old Yale Ogron Window Company. This year Virginie is going to help us tell the AWP story and remind the dealers that there is a manufacturer to whom they matter, a manufacturer beholden only to them."
