Sarasota-based Global Financial Private Capital was recently named to a University of Florida (UF) list of fastest-growing companies, coming in at number 20 out of 100 firms.
UF’s “2016 Gator100” list placed Global Financial in the top quintile in its rankings. As an independently owned SEC Registered Investment Advisor with $4.5 billion in assets under management, the firm fell well within the guidelines for qualification for Gator100; eligibility for the prestigious list requires that a firm have been operational for at least five years and had revenues of at least $250,000 for the year under consideration.
"We are proud to receive this accolade as we continue to expand our network of financial advisors around the country," Global Financial President Geoff Frazier said. "I am grateful to our team for making this growth possible through their ongoing dedication and diligence."
Global Financial was named to the Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisors in June 2015. Additionally, the company ranked number 17 out of 100 firms included in WealthManagement.com's Top 100 RIAs of 2015 as of December 2015.
"The Gator100 is an important initiative that recognizes entrepreneurial excellence," Michael Morris, academic director of UF’s entrepreneurship program, said. "It is open to any and all companies founded or run by Gator alumni, and recognizes those who are achieving growth, innovating, and making a difference in their communities."
