Daytona Beach, Florida-based International Speedway Corp. (ISC) recently revealed its selection as a NASDAQ “US Broad Dividend Achievers Index” member, with its new status effective as of Monday, March 21.

The prestigious consortium consists of U.S. accepted securities demonstrating a minimum of 10 years of growth in annual dividend payments. While NASDAQ Global Indexes has structured market-leading, transparent indices since 1971, this particular Index was established in 2003 to recognize winning businesses across the board for their commitment to enhancing shareholder value through the return of capital to shareholders.

“We are pleased to join the elite group of successful companies that make up the … US Broad Dividend Achievers Index,” ISC’s CEO, Lesa France Kennedy, said. “In 2015, our dividend was 26 cents per share, an increase of 333 percent compared to 2005, demonstrating ISC’s strong track record and commitment to delivering shareholder value.”

ISC, a well-known motorsports activity promoter, now manages publicity for over 100 racing events annually. International Speedway Corp. also owns and oversees 13 of the United States’ foremost auto racing and motor sports facilities — including Florida’s own famous Daytona International Speedway — along with Motor Racing Network, an independent sports radio network; and Americrown Service Corp., a catering operation and concessions business.
