ADP, a provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, recently revealed through its latest regional report in collaboration with Moody's Analytics Inc. that the state of Florida added 17,900 private sector jobs in January.
Distributed free of charge to the public on a monthly basis, the ADP Regional Employment Report regularly measures changes in regional and state nonfarm private employment on a seasonally adjusted basis.
The organization’s analysis by sector revealed that Florida added 5,100 goods-producing jobs and 12,800 service positions. Its breakdown by industry showed 3,600 additional spots in natural resources, mining and construction; 1,500 within manufacturing; 3,700 within professional and business services; and 3,800 under the umbrella of trade, transportation and utilities.
ADP indicated that its February data would be released on March 9 and that it makes data on other states fully available to the public. The company utilizes advanced proprietary cloud software to keep tabs on industry trends worldwide and to bring insight to human resources for businesses of all sizes. The firm maintains its U.S. headquarters in Roseland, New Jersey.
