Jackson Health System, a Miami-Dade County nonprofit academic medical organization dedicated to health care equality, has selected e-Builder Enterprise to improve construction project management efficiency and cut costs, the firm recently announced from Plantation, Florida.
Driving the decision was the need to centralize operations and improve collaboration between different principals involved in the firm’s projects, from architects and engineers to construction businesses and individual contractors. Acquiring e-Builder Enterprise’s service dramatically shaves months off project calendars and saves funds previously dedicated to higher insurance premiums.
“As Jackson embarks on a major, $1.4 billion capital plan to build new facilities and upgrade existing facilities, we are committed to transparency in every aspect of the process,” Carlos Migoya, Jackson Health System’s president and CEO, said. “By implementing e-Builder Enterprise, all of our stakeholders — including architects, contractors, builders and procurement teams — will have real-time insight into project status updates.”
e-Builder, which since 1995 has developed and provided integrated cloud-based software specific to the construction industry, expressed pride in the local aspect of its alliance with Jackson Health System.
“Jackson Health System is an important organization in South Florida, providing invaluable health resources to those in the area,” Ron Antevy, e-Builder’s president and CEO, said. “We are always thrilled to have the opportunity to work with systems like this, but the fact that it serves our same community makes this process even more meaningful.”
