Patented fuel process creator MagneGas Corp. of Tampa, Florida recently took decisive steps to expand by leasing a building in central Florida in order to further its distribution network and revenue.
Via its latest addition, the business will be able to reach parts of the state not yet serviced, including businesses utilizing industrial gas and welding applications.
Its subsidiary, MagneGas Equipment Sales & Service Inc. (E.S.S.I.), is prepared to set up inventory and daily operational support including distribution, accounting and billing tasks. Most significantly, the new site will host a previously contracted NASA-sourced project.
"This is just one more step in our strategy to expand MagneGas2 sales and geographical footprint,” Ermanno Santilli, CEO of MagneGas, said. “Through this new location, we will be in a position to service customers previously not available to us. Some existing customers are now being serviced from our other locations, so this expansion will include more efficient delivery methods for those sales. In addition, we expect to be in a much better position to service our project at NASA."
MagneGas holds a patent on a conversion process that transforms liquid waste into hydrogen based fuel. The resulting product can substitute natural gas in precision metal cutting work.
