A trio of companies including Armour Automotive has now combined into AAMP Global Ltd., an aftermarket mobile electronics vendor, AAMP reported recently from its base in Clearwater, Florida.
Joining Rosen Electronics and AAMP of America, Armour was the third of the three firms to be consolidated under AAMP Global. Its international headquarters in Bordon, United Kingdom employs over 60 individuals, while eight additional staffers handle business in Scandinavia. Worldwide, the firm works with more than 7,000 retailers through 20,000 distribution centers.
“The new AAMP Global brand represents our successful past and our outlook of a promising future,” AAMP Global CEO David Klatt said. "We're making highly strategic changes to make us a more efficient and cutting-edge company without disrupting the relationships AAMP has built over its 20-plus years in business."
Aiming to “Revolutionize the In-Vehicle Experience On-Road, Off-Road and Off-Shore,” AAMP markets seven brand labels including EchoMaster, Autoleads, PAC, Rosen, Phoenix Gold, Stinger and iSimple.
The expanded entity unveiled its updated identity, including a new logo, tagline and revised online presence, in November 2015. AAMP’s slogan, "Define Your Drive," strives to communicate the company’s role in delivering a personalized driving experience for each customer with enhanced audio and entertainment options, connectivity, itinerary choices and safety features.
