The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Foundation recently honored the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FSHCC) with a $20,000 grant for its Access Florida Capital program at the Legislative Summit Opening Reception in Washington, D.C.
Teaming with Wells Fargo annually, the USHCC Foundation allots a total of $100,000 to chambers across the country demonstrating an ongoing commitment to support and sustain business activity at the local level. Each of the organizations received grants in amounts ranging between $5,000 and $20,000.
FSHCC joined nine other local chambers in the event providing recognition to local and regional chambers, including Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Cincinnati, Latino Chamber of Commerce of Pueblo, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana, Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Hispanic Business Group, Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
FSHCC’s Access Florida Capital initiative is the Sunshine State’s only comprehensive program created especially for business owners, offering how-to help and hands-on guidance for starting or growing their companies. Access Florida Capital assists entrepreneurs in planning, organizing and presenting their concepts for potential funding.
