Florida Community Bank President/CEO Kent Ellert has attained finalist status for the 2016 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in Florida, demonstrating a high level of achievement in his field, EY announced recently from Weston.
The 30th annual competition gala will be staged at Tampa’s Straz Center for the Performing Arts on June 9, where winners will be announced. The EY program acknowledges rising business stars in over 145 cities across 60-plus nations worldwide.
“It is an honor to be named a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2016 Award in Florida, and to be included among such an illustrious group being recognized for their inspirational vision and leadership,” Ellert said. “The growth and success of Florida Community Bank has been a true team effort as we strive on a daily basis to innovate and excel in how we support and serve our customers.”
Area champions will go on to a national level, eligible to win top place in a variety of categories at an event planned for Nov. 19 in Palm Springs, California.
“I am excited to share this recognition with all of our dedicated associates, and remain committed to doing all that I can to further the spirit of entrepreneurship that fuels our communities,” Ellert said.
Ernst & Young maintains several Florida hubs, including Miami, Tampa-St. Petersburg, and Jacksonville.
