GuideWell Innovation teams with Healthbox for intensive Lake Nona seminar

A consortium of 11 early-stage health care organizations was handpicked recently to join The Healthbox Florida Studio in Partnership with GuideWell Innovation, an eight-week-long accelerator event in Lake Nona Medical City, Florida.


A consortium of 11 early-stage health care organizations was handpicked recently to join The Healthbox Florida Studio in Partnership with GuideWell Innovation, an eight-week-long accelerator event in Lake Nona Medical City, Florida.

Slated for the GuideWell Innovation “CoRE,” or Collaborative Resource Ecosystem, the colloquium will serve to identify and address the individual companies’ needs by pairing enterprises with mentors and industry professionals.

"GuideWell Innovation was created to transform the health industry by rapidly accelerating health innovation and developing impactful solutions," Renee Finley, who heads GuideWell Innovation, said. "These 11 companies are representative of the future of health care and the innovative ideas essential to its transformation."

BloomAPI, Buoy Health, CarePredict, dbaza health, Doctella, Hint Health,KynderMed, PotentiaMetrics, Rimidi Diabetes, Senscio Systems’ and SMRxT are set to participate in the course, running now through June 30.

Healthbox is a platform for the health care industry striving to establish strong links between entrepreneurs and organizations, rolling out its first accelerator program in 2012. Its parent company is Healthbox Global Partners LLC, founded by Nina Nashif to provide an “intersection of health care entrepreneurship and innovation.”

Lake Nona Medical City is a 650-acre health and life sciences campus located in Orlando dedicated to learning and health technology.
