Aviation industry supplier AerSale recently announced that existing team members Vanessa Machado and Mike Wilson are each slated to take on significant leadership positions at the Coral Gables, Florida-based company.
Machado came to the company in 2014 and will now serve as VP of Human Resources, while Wilson, on board since March 2016, will be promoted to VP of Materials for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in the firm’s London office.
CEO Nicolas Finazzo clarified the newly created appointments by explaining AerSale’s system of scaling global growth and marketing. Machado brings two decades of HR expertise to her new position with a varied background in international business.
"Both of these newly created positions are necessary to achieve the continued scaling of AerSale's international corporate oversight and marketing operations," Finazzo said."In her relatively short tenure with AerSale, Vanessa has implemented key programs centered on the effective integration of recruiting, performance assessment, benefits, and payroll.”
Wilson has amassed 35 years of experience in the aviation field and will support global marketing efforts to expand AerSale’s client base worldwide.
“In his new role, Mike will emphasize expansion of AerSale's local service offerings regarding MRO capabilities, regional aircraft on ground support, and flight hour-based aircraft and engine support programs," Finazzo said.
AerSale serves airlines, government agencies, original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and independent maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) businesses with materials and service.
