Ggaming firm Global Sports Entertainment Inc. (GSE) recently completed a reverse merger, bringing Florida-based Global Fantasy Sports Inc. under its wing as a wholly owned subsidiary, the firm announced from its Tavernier offices.
"This is an extremely exciting time to introduce our second generation daily fantasy sports ("DFS") 2.0 vision of an everyday fan-focused product,” Company Chairman Ian Rosenblatt said. “By producing authentic, socially engaging, second screen game experiences with advanced data tools and content integrated into play, GSE aims to create the perfect complement for sports viewing entertainment worldwide for all players.”
GSE’s mission is to provide a “fan-centric” platform dedicated to precision and compliance with regulations for aficionados of televised sports, including fantasy sports gamers who utilize the medium on a daily basis.
“Through transparency, collaboration with our players and a dedication to unique game design in every sports vertical, we believe GSE will become a world leader in the ever-growing fantasy sports industry," Rosenblatt said. “We're clearly just at the beginning of penetrating the $26 billion fantasy sports market. There's still a huge market that's untapped."
Formerly known as Satya Worldwide Inc., GSE is a Second Screen Entertainment enterprise. “Second screen” refers to the use of a computing device to provide an enhanced viewing experience for content on another device, such as television.
