Over two dozen new exam rooms, upgraded hydrotherapy facilities and aesthetic outdoor environs will feature prominently in Lakeland Regional Health’s new Grasslands Campus with a 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. open house June 8 at 3030 Harden Blvd.
The occasion will feature an official ribbon cutting, light refreshments and facilities tour with a chance for visitors to meet care team members.
Slated to open June 13 with both primary and specialty care practitioners, the new site will also house a rehabilitation and sports medicine program, wound care center and a children’s center associated with Nemours Children’s Health System, a national outfit with locations in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as Florida.
“We feel privileged to begin serving patients at this beautiful new campus,” Jon Boyette, VP of the practice’s physician group and ambulatory operations division, said. “This is one example of how Lakeland Regional Health is dedicated to providing our community with convenient access to high-quality primary and specialty care.”
The innovative site will allow easier teamwork among various disciplines, such as pediatricians, audiology and orthopedics.
“We are excited to be offering so many care options in one centralized location,” Danielle Drummond, Lakeland Regional Health EVP and COO, said. “Our patients are at the heart of all we do, so our focus is on providing them with access to groundbreaking technology that can improve their outcomes.”
