The U.S. Department of Commerce recently tapped Miami’s Lingua Franca Translations founder and CEO Marcela Arbeláez to join South Florida’s District Export Council (DEC), which aids U.S. businesses seeking to expand into global markets.
Arbeláez is slated to attend the DEC’s flagship event in Fort Lauderdale June 15-16, entitled Discover Global Markets: The Americas 2016, and noted as a leading nationwide executive conference. In any language, that translates to excitement.
"We are thrilled to be part of this unique event," Arbeláez said. "Discover Global Markets, organized by the U.S. Commercial Service and the South Florida District Export Council, represents a unique opportunity for U.S. exporters and business leaders to reach the Western Hemisphere Commercial Officers and experts in the trade community in one place."
