Florida’s uBreakiFix tech repair firm opens Fort Myers outlet

Whether water-damaged, cracked or otherwise ailing, tech devices can be made whole again within one day in Fort Myers with the recent opening of uBreakiFix’s newest Florida branch, owned by Justin Murphy and Jeremy Azinger.

The firm tackles software, camera, and other small electronics problems. It repairs iPhones, smartphones, tablets, iPods, computers, and game consoles with convenient “same-day” service. Every uBreakiFix technician goes through intensive training, and patrons can enjoy the store’s quick and “hassle-free” customer service. Each repair comes with a 90-day warranty; an average repair costs $85.

The latest location is nestled among the shops and businesses of the downtown’s River District. Murphy expressed enthusiasm for the recently renovated neighborhood.

"The building we're in was actually built in 1914, over 100 years ago," Murphy said. "Back in 1914, Henry Ford and Thomas Edison were visiting their summer homes down the street and today we're fixing devices they could have only read about in the works of Jules Verne or H.G. Wells.”

Founded in 2009, uBreakiFix has repaired more than 1.5 million devices to date. Approximately 60 branches are now located in Florida, with company headquarters in Orlando. The company now operates over 200 stores across North America.

"Our commitment is to creating a great experience for our customers," Company Founder Justin Weatherill said. "With our expansion into downtown Fort Myers, our hope is that we become a trusted resource for technology repair in the community."
