Enticing experiences beckon prospective members to north central Florida’s elegant Gilchrist Club on Suwannee Lake in Trenton, which recently opened membership eligibility to corporate constituents, offering hunting, water sports, luxurious quarters, fine cuisine and more.

Since 1999, Gilchrist has operated as a private club and as an exclusive escape from the fast-paced everyday business world, situated on 27,000 acres with boating and fishing, guided expeditions, sporting and instruction, as well as hiking and hospitality. Guests can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, or float trips on the Santa Fe River; fishing and scalloping trips, wing shooting and fly-fishing. The club features its own Pro Shop for members’ convenience.

The club’s Deer Run Meeting Center, open since July 2015, hosts up to 30 conference guests and 75 reception attendees, with space for business meetings as well as social occasions.

Fine food and wine complement five lakefront lodges at this grand getaway, with each of 24 guest rooms furnished with both traditional and modern amenities — from fireplaces to wifi.

Gilchrist Club extends an invitation to Florida business stakeholders to explore the beauty, wilderness and “moments you don’t have to manage” with a visit to its grounds. To arrange a retreat, prospective members can call 352-463-7070.
